Conferences
Our aim is to facilitate constructive dialogue between policymakers, researchers, opinion leaders and experts, to foster a greater understanding of tipping points risks and their potential impact. We also explore designs of governance structures and international policy processes that account for tipping points and help navigate toward a thriving sustainable future.

Following the success of our first conference in September 2022, we a held a second Global Tipping Points Conference in July 2025. This took place at the University of Exeter and was co-hosted by the Global Systems Institute at the University of Exeter, the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and the Max Planck Institute of Geoanthropology.
